2018 update and review 1

I have not made any updates to the blog since the records weekend for a number of reasons, however with the end of the year came the confirmation that we broke 9 British Records and the Guinness world record.
The extra 3 records were the old Bonneville class records that are officiated over by UK Timing Association (UKTA). The current class records are covered by a capacity limit of 2000cc but the old records have a lower limit 1650cc.
Below are 2 of the certificates but with the error that Straightliners have recorded my capacity as 1441cc even though I told them it was 1352cc. The discrepancy is down to the age of my bike as Kawasaki increased the volume on later models but mine is an original 2006 model.

I now also have all the evidence required (I hope) to send to Guinness World Records to have them officially ratify the world record. I now need to submit all he information through the website and then wait !
